About Us

Lake & Skye is modern and conscious beauty, simple in its essence. From the signature fragrance and aromatherapy blends to the floral waters, our products are responsibly created. Inspired by contemporary women, and rooted in wellness, Lake & Skye is designed to enhance and elevate her every day.
EMPOWERING RITUAL
Lake & Skye began when founder Courtney Somer had her first daughter and learned to use the power of essential oils for healing. A long-time lover of fragrance and aromatherapy, she created simple and intentional blends, a creative outlet with a purpose that complimented motherhood. Somer envisioned the blends as gifts to give yourself to use throughout the day, whether you needed an extra boost of confidence, a moment of gratitude or to balance mind and body. The rollerballs were crafted specifically for a woman on the go. No matter where she went or what she was doing, these blends, small enough for a purse, yet big enough to transform and center, were by her side.
RESPONSIBLE CREATION
We believe in natural whenever possible, including organic, sugar cane alcohol in our parfum and soy base for our candles. We’re mindful of the ingredients we use and how the products are handled throughout the process, from development to delivery. We source the essential oils and floral waters from conscious, ethical farms in the U.S., Europe, India and South America. Our products are cruelty-free, and contain no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or palm oil.
INFUSED WITH CONCIOUSNESS
After experiencing a health crisis in her twenties, L&S founder Courtney Somer became passionate about alternative healing and wellness. She has studied aromatherapy, reiki, nutrition and meditation. She is a certified Kundalini and pre natal yoga teacher. The inspiration of these various modalities have been infused into the L&S products, including the packaging, naming, formulations and scents.
