Collection of Information.

Lake & Skye reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter or add features to our Website that require you to register or otherwise provide additional PII or to require registration to access the Website.
Lake & Skye does not sell, rent or share PII collected with other people other than as specifically described herein.
When you visit the Website, our web servers automatically collect website usage information. Website usage information is anonymous information that describes how our visitors use and navigate our Website, and it includes the number and frequency of visitors to each web page, video and the time-span of their stays. Lake & Skye collects the anonymous information sent to us automatically by your web browser, together with referrer data that identifies the web page visited prior and subsequent to your visiting our Website, and your IP address. Clear GIFs Information:
When you use the Website, Lake & Skye may use “clear GIFs” to track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously (i.e., in a non-personally-identifiable manner). In addition, we may also use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to our users in order to track which emails are opened by recipients.
Use of Information.
Any PII or content that you voluntarily disclose online (on discussion boards, in messages, comments and chat areas, etc.) becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others.

Consent to Transfer.

However, please note that if Lake & Skye is requested by an advertiser to target an advertisement to a certain audience, and you subsequently respond to that advertisement, the advertiser may determine that you fit the profile of the audience it is trying to reach. The advertiser may also use information regarding your use of the Website, such as the number of times you viewed an ad (but not any PII), to determine which ads it should send to you.

When you make a purchase from Lake & Skye online store, as part of the buying and selling process, we will collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. When you provide us with personal information necessary to complete a transaction, such as to verify your credit card, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we will collect and use such information for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

2. Shopify Inc. (“Shopify”) provides the online e-commerce platform for Lake & Skye.
a. Any data you provide to complete a transaction is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. If you provide your credit card information through a direct payment gateway, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Shopify will store your credit card data, encrypted in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), which is a joint effort of merchants such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover to ensure the secure handling of credit card information. (All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council.). Shopify follows all PCI-DSS requirements and implements additional generally accepted industry standards. Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.
b. Shopify Cookies. Shopify uses the following cookies:
Session id, unique token, stored for the session, which allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
Visit information, for 30 minutes from the last visit, which allows Shopify’s website provider’s internal statistics tracker to record the number of visits.
Unique visits information, which expires at midnight (with respect to each visitor) of the day following the visit, which allows Shopify to,count the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
Shopping Cart information, which token is saved for two (2) weeks and stores information about the contents of your cart.
Storefront digest, which is unique and store indefinitely, and is used to determine if the current user has access to any shops that require a password.
